Advanced Session (Optional)
Phase 1
Meal Preparation
Individuals will be trained on how to meal prep for a week, to ensure that they are able to consume the appropriate foods, throughout the week. Additionally, it will eliminate a lack of time as a factor to healthy eating.
Phase 2
Cooking
Participants will have opportunity to observe preparation of healthy meals, using ingredients that provide the basic nutrients needed in the USDA MyPlate plan.
Grocery store shopping trip included.
