How The Program Works


HCAB Nutrition’s program begins with 12-weeks (3 months) of nutrition coaching to

assist clients in developing an understanding of healthy nutrition and the impact it has on their health and wellness. Clients have an opportunity to continue with the nutrition program until they reach their desired health and wellness goals.

Group Nutrition Training for Organizations/Corporations


HCAB Nutrition uses the latest technology to analyze the current body composition of

our clients. The InBody 580 scanner provides advanced segmental analysis with

medical-grade accuracy. Results of the InBody 580 scan provides specialized

measurements for detailed assessment of an individual’s muscle quality, hydration

status, and body composition changes. Our nutrition coach combines the analysis from

the scan with the food tracking resource from LifeBase solution app, to tailor the nutrition program specifically for each client. Clients will receive coaching support in

identifying the root cause(s) of their current nutrition habits. Root cause analysis will be used to develop S.M.A.R.T. nutrition goals.

What is Body Composition?


Body composition is a method of breaking down your body into its core

components: fat, muscle, and water. It gives you a more in-depth

understanding of your weight and health, helps you to track diet and

exercise progress, and uses the power of data to set you up for success.


Why is it important?


Body composition is a more accurate measure of your weight and health

than BMI because it divides your weight into fat, muscles, and water. It tells

you exactly what you’re losing, gaining, or maintaining. With body

composition analysis, you can measure your fat and muscle mass, track

your progress, and make any changes needed to meet your goals.


Why take an InBody Test?


In just 30 seconds, you will receive a detailed Result Sheet with your body

composition measurements. Use these results to:


1. Find Your Baseline

Scales show your weight as a basic number. See how much of your weight is

Skeletal Muscle Mass and Body Fat Mass to find your baseline body

composition so you know what to lose, gain, or maintain.

2. Assess Your Percent Body Fat

BMI is a poor indicator of your health because it doesn’t differentiate between

fat and muscle. Percent Body Fat (PBF) is a better health indicator, as it

compares your fat levels to your weight. You can improve your health by

focusing on fat loss, not just weight loss.


3. Measure Segmental Lean Mass

The InBody Test shows you how many pounds of lean mass you have in each

body segment and how well-developed it is. Spot any insufficiencies or

imbalances and tailor your exercises to achieve adequate lean mass in each

part of your body.

4. Evaluate Visceral Fat

The Visceral Fat Area graph shows how many cm² of Visceral Fat you have in

your abdomen around your organs. Decrease your risk for chronic diseases

by getting this output below 100 cm².

5. Set Goals & Track Progress

Set goals and take the InBody Test every two weeks to track your progress.

See your results from the past eight tests to spot changes in body

composition and adjust your routine to prevent a plateau.

InBody 580 Scan Results Sheet


The InBody 580 scanner provides body composition analysis. InBody scan

analysis includes health metrics including water balance, and cellular

health indicators which provide deeper insights into overall wellness and

physiological function for comprehensive client assessment. Scans using

InBody technology is supported by clinical trials. HCAB Nutrition uses scan

analysis to guide our nutrition coach and clients in the development of a

personalized plan designed to help them reach their health and wellness

goals.


Results analysis provides body composition history comparison data, so

that our nutrition coach and clients can review changes in their weight,

skeletal muscle mass, body fat mass, percent body fat, extracellular water,

and total body water, to guide adjustments to their nutrition plan.


LifeBase Solutions


HCAB Nutrition’s coach will use the technology provided through LifeBase

solutions for food tracking and communication. LifeBase provides an

advanced app for food tracking and technology to support ongoing

communication between the nutrition coach and client. By using this

platform, clients have access to informative texts, emails, recipes and

videos to keep them motivated as they progress through the program. Food

tracking is key to achieving the health and wellness success that our clients

are seeking. The LifeBase food tracking app provides clients with multiple

ways to record their meals: scanning barcodes, searching for food items,

taking a picture of the meal, and verbally describing the meal. Through food

tracking, clients have immediate feedback to guide them in taking

corrective action to improve their nutrition habits. Our coach will use this

tool to monitor and support nutrition clients between the face-to-face follow-

up sessions.
